Mortgage Brokers Frequently Asked Questions

On July 1, 2008, the Mortgage Brokers Act was withdrawn and the Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006 went into full effect. When the Act went into effect, all Mortgage Broker registrations expired, and all Mortgage Brokerages, Administrators, Brokers and Agents now require a licence to do business in Ontario.
